Job Title: SAP GL Consultant

Summary

The SAP GL Consultant will support global finance teams with configuration, issue resolution, enhancements, and month‑end close activities across SAP S/4HANA or ECC GL processes.

Key Responsibilities

 Configure and support GL master data, posting rules,
• validations/substitutions, and financial close processes.
• Work with Universal Journal (ACDOCA), parallel ledgers, document splitting, and currency types.
• Provide offshore support for month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Troubleshoot GL posting issues, integration errors, and cross‑module impacts.
• Prepare functional specs for enhancements and collaborate with ABAP

Teams
• Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and production deployments.
• Work closely with onsite U.S. teams for daily support and project deliverables.

Required Skills
• Strong SAP FI‑GL configuration experience.
• Good understanding of integration with AP, AR, AA, CO, MM, SD.
• Experience in issue analysis, debugging, and root‑cause identification.
• Excellent communication for onsite–offshore coordination.
