About the Role:
You will be responsible for planning, sequencing, and executing the full migration application portfolio from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID — approximately 27 applications across low, medium, and high complexity tiers. You will work closely with the IAM Architect and application owners to ensure zero-disruption cutover.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead application discovery, inventory validation, and migration sequencing by risk and complexity tier
• Register and configure applications in Entra ID using SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth2, and WS-Federation protocols
• Configure Conditional Access policies governing authentication behavior per application
• Execute parallel-run and rollback strategies for high-risk application migrations
• Coordinate with app and platform owners to validate pre- and post-cutover access
• Conduct authenticator registration campaigns for end users
• Decommission Okta app integrations post-migration and validate platform retirement
• Document migration runbooks and contribute to final Okta exit
Required Skills:
• 8+ years hands-on with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
• Deep experience with SAML, OIDC, OAuth2 app integrations
• Experience migrating applications from Okta or another IdP to Entra ID
• Proficiency with Conditional Access policy design
• Familiarity with Entra ID app gallery and custom app registration
• PowerShell scripting for automation of migration tasks
• Strong ability to work with non-technical application owners
